Dr. Michelle S. Brown, JD, AP
Acupuncture Physician
Dr. Michelle S. Brown is an Attorney and Licensed Acupuncture Physician, authorized to practice law in Indiana and licensed in Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture in both Indiana and Florida.
She earned her degrees from:
- SUNY Binghamton, Binghamton, NY (B.A., 1988)
- Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, MI (J.D., 1992)
- Atlantic Institute for Oriental Medicine, Fort Lauderdale, FL (Diploma, 2011)
Dr. Brown’s training includes 1.5 years of study in acupuncture and Oriental medicine in Suzhou, China (2006–2008), as well as completion of the NADA protocol at Brighton Hospital, Michigan (2008). She is a certified Acupuncture Detox Specialist.
Dr. Michelle is an Associate Diplomate of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians (AASCP).
Based in Fort Myers, Florida, Dr. Brown provides a wide range of treatments including acupuncture, injection therapy, homeopathic and herbal medicine, and essential oil applications for wellness.
Dr. Joel Pelissier, MD
Medical Director
Dr. Joel Pelissier is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician with the American Board of Internal Medicine and has been practicing since 1996.
He completed his residency at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center and pursued additional training in France and Spain.
Dr. Pelissier has offered comprehensive and integrative care while partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals.
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Joel is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Stem Cell Physicians (AASCP) and contributes to medical education as a board review question writer for the Society of Hospital Medicine.
Fluent in Haitian Creole, French, English, and Spanish, and conversational in Portuguese, Dr. Pelissier brings a multicultural and multilingual approach to patient care.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with his daughter and family, exercising, and reading.
Rhiguetty Fortune, PMHNP-BC

Rhiguetty Fortune is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 17 years of nursing experience spanning acute care hospitals, trauma units, rehabilitation centers, hospice, and behavioral health settings. Her clinical foundation is complemented by more than a decade in leadership roles, where she has guided care teams with clarity, compassion, and clinical excellence.
Rhiguetty holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and earned both her Bachelor’s and Associate degrees in Nursing from Rasmussen College. She began her healthcare career as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2007 and has since devoted her practice to improving mental health outcomes across the continuum of care.
